Guide :Saws : 10" Dual Slide Compound Miter Saw with Light LS1013F

Frozen slide mechanism

I recently purchase the Makita 10" sliding miter saw and it worked fine the first couple of cuts. The last time the slide became frozen in the extended position. Are there any adjustments or recommended ways to loosen this up?
